Pictures of Morris

Morris,

I never thought that I'd share your photos publicly when we took them. But even though you never got the chance to take your first breath here on earth, you touched so many lives in your passing. Something about that makes me want to share a few photos of our precious moments with you with the world. You are so beautiful to your daddy and I, and we will never tire of looking at your sweet face. We love you and miss you so much!

Love,

Mommy

Our Moments with Morris

Our first family photo

The picture of you and I is my favorite picture of us because you can tell how happy I was to meet you. And Morris, I love this photo of you and your daddy...the look on his face says it all!

Morris' Nursery

The crib your daddy spent hours assembling. It turned out so beautiful!  The gray and yellow blanket on the side of your crib was made for you by one of my best friends...your daddy and I didn't know she could crochet until we received it! There are several stuffed animals in your crib, including a green frog that was a gift from your cousin Johnny and a green bear that belonged to your great-grandmother Shirley. The top picture on the side wall across from your crib is a watercolor that was painted by your 2 year old cousin Riley...when I saw her painting it, I knew it would be perfect for your nursery. The walls are a beautiful shade of gray that we had custom mixed to match other things in your room, and we call the color "Morris' gray".

The curtains were made and the chair recovered specially for you by a wonderful family friend. I sit in that chair often and think of you. Your daddy refinished the old dresser to match your crib, and we added the fun knobs to the front. The chevron rug was the very first thing we bought for your nursery. The gray basket and cute canisters on your dresser that hold hats, socks, and other small items were a gift from Gramy. This is the area where I display keepsakes like your ultrasound pictures, our family photo, your handprints and footprints, and some of the gifts we have received in your honor. The paining hanging above the dresser was painted by a sweet young lady in your memory.

Your daddy spent hours painting this old changing table gray and white to match the rug and little elephant baskets that hold your toys and books. Above is a maternity picture of Mommy and Daddy with Abby, our sweet little Min Pin. You can't see it in this picture, but above the closet door is a small plaque that reads "You are My Sunshine"...because you are!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures of Morris. I too am a mother to an angel. Abby was born September 28th 2014. She was full term and unfortunately due to medical negligence she passed before being able to take her first breathe outside my body. What ypu did with his nursery is so beautiful. I wish I had your strength. Ypu and your husband are in my thoughts and prayers.
